Removing unwanted `*` and `#` prefixes would be good, but I hope we also 
eliminate duplicates[^1] as detailed at
https://github.com/squid-cache/squid-cache.github.io/pull/52#pullrequestreview-5266571992

[^1]: A literal interpretation of the prefix removal implies that the 
prefix removal itself creates those duplicates. I do not recommend such 
excessive focus on "spelling", but if the end result is the removal of 
those duplicates, then I would welcome that outcome.
